		<description>I guess it depends on what the users want from the page. If they have a very specific task to perform (e.g. login, find contact details etc.) then they&#039;ll probably scan for a nice big shiny button that says &#039;login&#039; or &#039;contact us&#039;, which they shouldn&#039;t have to scroll for.

If they&#039;ve come for more detailed information then I think it&#039;s evident that they&#039;re quite happy to scroll.

To pick a site at random&#8230; I&#039;m not sure where &lt;a href=&quot;http://analog.coop/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Analog&lt;/a&gt; fits into this&#8230;the call to action is right at the bottom of the page. But I guess it&#039;s more a marketing page, announcing the presence of the company to the world, generating a &#8220;buzz&#8221;, rather than an effort to get people to contact them.</description>
